Yeah, that was the name of the place. Coneyz. It had good burgers, the chili wasn't as good as Hubbas though.

I always enjoyed this parade. Too bad I have to work and miss it.
-
This had to be the loudest I have heard it in the city in a few years. I don't know what the final tally was on fires/injuries, but seems like there weren't a lot of confiscations going on.

Officers are ok. One ejected, one pinned, hurting but will live.

Every Job in this city, and every aspect of it. Be it PD,FD,EMS. You are guilty until proven innocent. I wasn't going to say much else because I don't think I could stay awake for a week straight typing my opinion on this.

It always looks faster when the lights and sirens are going. Let's not pass judgement on the LCC. Just pray for the injured members.

No, I am not saying the person who obviously upset this woman was having relations while on duty. I believe you misunderstood my statement. My presumption is that she found out she was "the other woman" and is VERY bitter. I do hope I have explained myself. Oh, and BTW, STOP TYPING WITH CAPS!!!! IT MAKES IT LOOK LIKE YOU ARE YELLING!!!!!

Hmmm, this is interesting. Sounds like the Universal Soldier movies from a few years back. Creepy, in a Night of the Living Dead kind of vein, but still interesting.

This isn't uncommon. I noticed it once on Kent PD's old frequency back in the 80's. Monmouth County shares citywide, as does Philadelphia FD EMS dispatch. If I remember correctly, back in the day PFD used to share with Brooklyn, and LA County shared another freq with FDNY. Paterson FD in Jersey was frequently picked up by Lake Carmel, and I think Hackensack broadcasts its morning radio checks on the Citywide Mobile or the old HT frequency.

I hope he does get the opportunity to come back. I also hope that the Media in New York City get a fire beat writer who will not screw up unit numbers and such. But that is another rant for another time.

I picked up a Fuji Fine Pix A210 last year at PC Richards for a little more than $200. It's probably obsolete by now. It's a little bulky but it is rugged and takes some very good pictures. My brother and sister both liked it and went out and got one of their own.

Sounds like she got mixed up with the wrong guy and found out she was the little action on the side.

Relieve boredom?? No. It's called washdown and giving first aid prior to EMS arrival. Gee this guy really needs to do a ride along. This is the first time I have ever heard of a Fire Department billing anyone, just for showing up. I would love to fire off an e-mail at this guy, but not sure if I could do it without getting nasty.
-
They also got tired of John Q. Public, who is normally slow on the uptake, mistaking an NYPD radio car for a con edison vehicle.
-
That may be so, but 9 times out of 10, the hosebed riding and intoxication goes hand in hand.
-
May he RIP. Not to sound callous or insensitive, but does that count as an LODD?? I am just being curious. Apologies if I offended.

Can't make it. I gotta work. Sorry.

Here's my pictures: Marine 6, Fireboat Kane. Marine 1, Fireboat McKean. USCG 41 foot Utility Boat. I believe this is either a 23 or 25 foot CG Swift Rescue Boat. Ladder 10. Numerous FDNY, NYPD, USCG boats operating. Rescue 4, Special Called as Back up SCUBA Rescue. NYPD's newest helicopter. NYPD Aviation. Enjoy the pix. All photos taken by JBE. I did have a picture of a victim being removed by FDNY EMS, their face was obscured, however I felt it would be in good taste to keep that one out.

235, I'm with you when it comes to the whole age thing. I personally hated driving the rigs and made it well known I'd rather be on the back step.
-
Jeeze, the knuckleheads are really coming out of the woodwork lately.
-
Just another added thought. If you're gonna call in a false alarm, make sure you're not doing it in your firehouse!!!!
-
It's all about aesthetics, though. Red and Lime Green are recognized as FIRE APPARATUS COLORS!!! Fushia over Lavendar is pushing it a bit.
-
I was at the secene and will have pictures up a little later on. Unfortunately I don't have any pix of the helo being removed from the water, but I got a lot of rig/marine unit/USCG/NYPD Harbor and Aviation photos.
-
Hmm, where do I begin?? Sorry, 968, but he should be punished severely for this action. Getting booted from TFD may be necessary. He didn't want to give TFD another black eye?? Too late, damage done. Yet another knucklehead.

Personally I think the jury couldn't stand to see little frail Michael sent to prison where he would probably be shown true justice, as befits a kid toucher. Hope they can live with themselves for giving him a free ride for the rest of his life.
