  1. I'd like to do an out an about in Dutchess next week. Anybody from Dover, Wassaic, and East Fishkill available to help me out?? I'm looking at doing Wednesday or Thursday of next week. Just PM me here and let me know. For the fella in Rye, I didn't forget about you. I'll be in touch, because I want to do Port Chester and Rye Brook soon.
  2. I'd be game. The shoot I had today went well although it wasn't that sunny.
  3. Cropping and pasting now. Should have them up here in an hour or two.
  4. Also, a huge thanx to Chief Dingee and Frank from Dover. Everything will be up Sunday.
  5. I just got up to my special lady friends house from a very productive day. 5 Departments, 30 rigs. East Fishkill, Chelsea, Port Jervis, and Westfall, PA are next on my list and I will be reaching out to people from there to help me out. I want to thank Mark, and the Blue Crew, UV67-13, Mike, and his dad, the gang from Silver Lake, and Mechanicstown for helping me make this an awesome out and about. Due to some circumstances going on, I will not have any pictures up til Sunday afternoon at the earliest. I will also be posting some shots fro, North Carolina, Baltimore, and a few other destinations.
  6. Not to fan the flames here, but. You Ready for This?? 2Unlimited Plowed-Sponge Got Me Under Pressure-ZZ Top Lust for Life-Iggy Pop Welcome to Paradise-Green Day Cowboys from Hell-Pantera Mean Machine-Sugar Ray(Definitely does NOT sound like them) Miami Vice theme-Jan Hammer In the Air Tonight-Phil Collins, or Nonpoint(Miami Vice Movie Soundtrack) It's time to Party-Andrew WK(good one to get yourself pumped up at the start of a tour) Radar Gun-The Bottle Rockets(for all you cops out there) I can usually hear songs in my head, so I kinda have an internal soundtrack going through the course of my day. But, I do agree with the posts here that you shouldn't have the CD's/Radio playing when you're on a run. You may not be able to hear me yelling at you about something!!!!
  7. OK, I'm starting in Wassaic, and then Dover, Union Vale, and if someone from EF can take me around, that would be great. Kindly PM me with phone numbers and I will be in touch Tuesday to firm things up. Thank you..
  8. OK, I'm going to start in Wassaic at 10, then down to Dover at 12. Union Vale after.

  11. ok 67-13, anyone able to get there around noon??
  12. OK Mark, you're on, just PM me with directions. Anyone from Dover, Union Vale, or East Fishkill want to jump in??
  13. I forgot who covers it, but it was brought up before and the question was answered. I think Goose is correct that it's an automatic simultaneous dispatch of those departments. PC and RB at the very least. Here's a couple of questions that I have. Did the county ever staff the ARFF?? Did they ever try to staff the ARFF, or did one of the local departments try to make an inroads to staffing the ARFF?? And finally, Who is gonna hook me up with a chance to get in there and photograph those rigs??
  14. I can be up there by 10am. Just let me know where I'm going first..
  15. I'm looking at Wednesday, just found out my girlfriend is shanghai'ing me to LBI over the weekend. I can shoot Union Vale, I am getting a little affinity for the road stripe yellow.
  16. As you can see I went for buffing, never set foot in the expo.
  17. A friend of mine and I went down to the Baltimore area(as did just about everybody else) over the weekend. I really wasn't interested in the Expo, inasmuch as I wanted some out and about time. We're over at City Hall for the rally and we decide to leave. Then we get passed by two chiefs cars and it was off we went. We rolled up on this fire after doing a good ten minutes of looking around to find it. Anyone get the Box number for this?? Here's how it looked when we turned the corner onto Bel Air. Here's a couple more as I'm walking up the block.. Just as I took this one the Chief requested a 3rd Alarm No extension here, wait a minute, it's around back??
  18. Last shots.. I got about 20 more pictures of just apparatus over here. Here's looking up Truck 20 or 29 as they set up the ladder pipe. Truck 26's Stick.. Enjoy!!!
  19. Taken from the fire escape of the house on Bel Air Front of the fire building, looks to be an auto repair shop, and a double wide trailer next to it.
  20. Looking up Truck 30's stick in front of the exposure. Here's a shot from the backyard of the house on Bel Air
  21. UnF'inBelieveable. Thoughts and Prayers for the members who handled this one. Prayers for the victims. TAPSJ, that road has been dangerous for years. I drive it occasionally heading to my girlfriends, and it's white knuckles from Peekskill on up.
  22. This was the second of four working fires we had in Manhattan that night. The next to last one came in about a half hour after this, and we started the night off with a 2nd up on Convent Avenue.
  23. Like I always say, doesn't matter what color you paint it, how many bells and whistles and stripes and lights, someone will either crash it, or into it.
  24. Nice work.
