Everything happens in cycles im sure if we wait a couple more yrs we will see an increase in fires again but we will never be as busy as the twenty year members in our departments were.

I have heard from many people that there is a price difference btw. balck and tan gear because the black gear has to be dyed.

So in mohegans case dont the Career firefighters pump the truck more at fires then the volunteers.

How do they determine if you go to an Engine co. or a Truck co.

The falls hasnt been recognized yet because we have the guyz just with the class however we dont drill enough to keep a fast status. Mostly because we focus on our dive team which is the only in the county. Maybe in a couple years you can us but thats a big maybe

I myself love my morning pride ben 2 with the bourkes i think it is the second best thing to the n5a without hurting your pocket as much. I can't find any flaws at all in this helmet its comfortable as hell. When i first started i got the "look there is a probie helmet" or a yellow metro and then was issued a 1010 which i hated b/d of how it sat on my head and the ratchet always loosed up on its own.

County car 4 on location confirming working fire in second floor of two story wood frame. Fire knocked down very quickly by first due apparatus no extension to the rest of the house. Very good job by mahopac!!!!!!!!!!
