As an EMT in putnam i had the great pleasure to many of calls with rich he deff knew exactly what he was doing at all times and i couldnt wait to be his Lt. in the falls he will be greatly missed RIP Brother we will one day ride together.

There is obviously way more tankers in Putnam County that could easily back fill. However, going by the distsance that was traveled by the two Westchester tankers, arent you depleting what little resoureces you have for that county which is mostly hydrant districts? I'm not trying to cause a fight. I'm just saying that 12 milies in 20 minutes as opposed to 10 miles in 10 minutes would have made a little more sense.

Yes, as the great chief has said she has been in service for about a year, serving along side our 2004 marion pumper at station 1. It like every truck does have its problems but it gets us from point A. to point B. and we can put the fire out. Anyone wanting to see it just drop me a pm and we could arrange a day. In putnam you have mahopac falls w/ the dive team and about 5 or 6 ice divers and on ice rescue equipment on the rescue with all members capable of preforming a rescue. Mahopac has about 20 to 30 guys all ice rescue certified
