Here are some pics of the smoke as of 2ish yeserday afternoon when we were getting ready to go racing..... These are from about 2-4 miles from the fire. We(woodstock, ulster county) sent a crew this morning and we are a good 45 Mins. + away from the fire. Also been listening to the scanner up here and the fire is starting to get close to some homes. Last one they called for was active fire 150 yard away.

I have a pair of ringers long cuff extrication gloves. I have had them for about three years. They are very comfortable and I still have good dexterity with them on. I have not had any problems whatsoever with them. No ripping or unusual wear and nothing has ever come through them no glass or anything. I would recommend them to anyone.
Thanks guys. The truck is only 2wd. We had the same concerns about mounting the q under the bumper. The original plan was to have it mounted in the bumper but there wasnt enough room to do so. We cannont run extended front bumpers due to size restrictions at our other stations. This truck will get rotated out to station 4 in a few years and they do not have the room to accomidate the extra length. It does not really look like it in the picture but it is actually off the ground quite a bit. We would need a hell of a snow to burry it. Once it is delivered and we get the final graphics applied ill get a few better pictures up.
