Date:08/08/2010 Time:17:00(Approx) Location: Mead Park, (Park St) Frequency: Units Operating: NCEMS 353, Medic 350, NCPD, NCFD Rescue 5 Weather Conditions: Description Of Incident:Report of a fall in the bird sanctuary with a laceration. Exact location of the patient was not initially known. Once patient was found, request for NCFD with stokes basket was made. Best access was made off Old Stamford Rd. NCFD R5 Capt Petrone and crew assisted EMS crews on scene with the extrication from the wooded area where patient was found with large laceration to the knee. Pt loaded and transported. First units on scene reporting fire on the #1 floor with extension to the attic area. Difficult access to the attic area and slate roof. Wilton E1, Car 2 and Fairfield E1 covered town.
