The Yankees don't have any heart left. When you keep moving players around, make trades and buy or sell players on a regular basis - the team cannot become a team. You take out the heart of it all by trying to buy talent. Some of the best teams in any sport are the underdogs, because their hearts are in it.

Yeah I know, just over-tired. Thanks for pointing it out!

A major benefit of FD response on EMS calls is the expediting of medical care. Most of the Departments in Westchester, volunteer and paid, arrive on scene prior to EMS. Now, if you're talking about Departments doing what they can to "boost their numbers" - be careful of what you say. Many Departments are doing what they can to enhance their public relations - which can be important come time to buy a new rig or a new firehouse. A Department that goes that extra mile to help their public is more likely to get the support they need at budget time then those who brush off the "little things."

Yeah, but the Planet Wings near Starbucks is cool! I think we're letting the terrorists win. Their goals include hurting, if not crippling our economy. By paying so much for security enhancements and overtime costs for extra police, they are winning in their eyes. I say we spend more money on blowing them all up. Don't like my opinion? Take a number!
