So now they will try and say the pt died as direct results of the medic or the care that was rendered as he was breathing and conscius when she saw him in the back of the bus. South America we have towns in this country that can't get a fire engine that is not 20 years old. I think help people is a great thing but let's help our own first. I did not see any other country send fire trucks up last summer to the gulf coast. But they all look to the USA to send help and 5 mins later it is F the US. Just my 2cents sorry Chris

Just for you truck buff's that rig carries shop id of MR9101 now used as rescue collaspe. It started life a the 1982 ALF rescue at R-2 then had the mack cab mounted and then was at rescue 4 for a while then a spare rescue. Chris

Hoboken still has the tiller it is a spare and it is now known as ladder 4 and i think they still have the FDNY rear mount as ladder 3. Chris

I like to keep a 4 in 1 screwdriver and a robo grip and a plain lock blade knife. Thats what works for me and it only cost about 20 bucks and the leatherman is about 60 bucks.

If the door is locked from a top mount mag place a halligan bar low in the door for a grip point for pressure then with a flat head axe hit the metal door top (at magnet) with a good shot that will break the contact and you can pull the door open. I have done this many times and it works great. DO NOT HIT THE DOOR IF IT ALL GLASS opppppppssssss.

From the pic it looks as if the pipe is not in as the top has no open area for it like the others just something i saw all in all very nice rigs.
