  3. My firehouse is a dry house but we have a bar (not stocked) but we the BYOB thing. If we have a company or department party then we stock up. As far as members drinking and riding we set up a duty crew for the day. The driver we have never drinks any time so we have it pretty good and it works.

  8. I had an old scanner from when I was a volly in FDMV and it was a crystal type. I still have them around some place I may still have the radio too. I will have to look around for them. Chris

  11. As you see Holy Name has bls units as well as Hackensack Med center and Englewood Hospital as well they will do a large amount of transports for the hospitals. They will so do bls back up when town can not get a bls unit out. They will also be part of the county MCI plan for large scale job's.   15. I would think that the troopers should be putting out flairs and use the car to stop the traffic in the lane near the scene. This would give the fd the room to work the scene as well protect the fd unit that is blocking the lane at the scene. This would also ensure that it is not left up to the fd to shut down the road. It is also my department ruke that no pov's go on the highway at any time only our trucks and chief's cars. Well that is my 2 cents.
