No not trying to be pushy. And it would be all firehouses/PD/Ems Stations. I just said fire houses to make it easy.

I was looking for the old fire house on South 3rd Ave that was used by Albano fuel. I think it was knocked down. If any has a pic please post it here and if anyone remembers who was in the house also please post. Thanks

I do beleave that the city had 2 of those High Ladder 1 & 2. Later in the life of the trucks they had the ladder's changed to a 100' Grove sticks.

I would love to know WHY it would be driving in the mall. What about the fumes from the exhaust that could not be good. Maybe the midwest should check the water they drink.........just joking about the water............

I think they made a tiller tower ladder a few years ago that never went anyplace they just showed it at shows. I will try and find a pic or an add for it and post it.

No the city has nothing to do with them at all. The board of underwriters is the owner.

To keep the weather of the hose. FDNY started it way back when. This was also when hose beds were low not like today when to have to call a ladder co to get the hose from the top of the engine.

As of last week they are still parked in the firehouse.

I bet it was a Jersey FD going back to the Jersey side of the river.
