Next is a fire that took place on Beekman Ave off of South Fulton Ave on March 13, 1987 This is the front of the fire build. Note that FDMV Ladder 3 was useing an FDNY spare tiller (former L-5). Yes FDNY loaned that truck to FDMV for some time back then. Cpage

Date: 12-27-2008 Time: 1018hrs Location: 41 Hawkins Street Frequencies: 154.130 Units Operating: Newark FD / UMDNJ EMS / Description Of Incident: Heavy fire in a 3 sty occupied building with fire out many window and the roof. Unit's searching for victims. Writer: CPAGE 1023hrs- 2nd Alarm, reports of occupants trapped. 1037hrs- 3rd Alarm. 1055hrs- Fire darkening down.

Date: 12-24-2008 Time: 15:06 Location: 51 Sherwood Ave C/S Crescent Place Units Operating: E-313,307,SQ-11,312 L-73,TL-75, R-1 Batt 2 S/C E-314 (FAST) Description Of Incident: Fire in a 3 sty frame dwelling. Hvy fire on the second and third floors. Batt reports all children are acounted for at this time and the search on the 3rd floor are negative as per Rescue 1. Batt 2 reports at 15:43 all fire k/d on both floors still has some small pocketts on the 3rd and cockloft. S/C 1 add truck L-70 for overhaul. Writer: CPAGE
  15. Johnny's pizza in Mount Vernon on West Lincoln Ave is the best pizza around the home of the thin crust.
  16. Ido beleave before Seagrave took over the T/L busy is was called Baker and no one had any major issues with them. Now the it is called aerialscope and run / owned by Seagrave it has not been as good as it has in the past. So lets make sure with call an apple and apple and an orange an orange. CPAGE

  18. Code 3 needs to go back and make some old trucks like a 1968 ALF tiller. When they started to make the classic fire truck set like the Mack CF that was a great start. CP
  19. I love how everyone thinks this is so do. First off what is the base pay you would have to go to the higher paid dept and use that as your new base. That would be great for guys in a dept that is lower on the scale but who picks up the rest of the money to bring it to the new scale. Just my 2 cents.
