Here: http://www.campbellsupply.com/newDeliverie...fdny%20MERV.jpg The above vehicle would be perfect for a county run rehab unit. They could just convert an old Bee-Line bus.

Geno's????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pat's is the ONLY way to go! Try it on your next hunt out there and you will see! It's right down the street! :caffine:

I totally agree with WA967. Rehab is an extremly important function, yet for the most part, overlooked. Rehab should be done by EMS personel on scene. For the most part anyways, EMS just stands there. The FF's should have other things do do than rehab, plus EMS more trained for a plan like this. The days of the Salvation Army Coffee Truck are long gone, or should be. IMO, the county should purchase 3 specially-equipped rehab trucks (one each for South, Central, and North) , similar to Los Angleles FD's Rehab 28, which even has a bathroom!

Looks like you guys lucked out, and got some good shots representing Philly's diverse fleet. So, as for the cheesesteak, which was it.......Pat's or Geno's? For the record, Pat's rocks!! Next time out to visit RadnorCo15, I'll have to make a stop. I love those cheesesteaks.

Hey All- Just so you are aware, I am flying out tommorow on Jetblue Airlines (Only my second time ever flying, and my first on Jetblue, which is supposed to be awesome!) to go to Los Angeles, California for the weekend on a Photo Hunt (Sponsored By EMTBravo.com) . While there, Code 3 Collectibles is hosting an open house, in which a bunch of LAFD area trucks will be attending. Should be a good time, I love LA City (My second time out there) I'll try to log on and give a report on this thread at some point during my trip. I'll also get to eat at one of my favorite burger joints, In-N-Out. I hope to get a ton of photos to share with you guys. Also, on a side note, Truck4 returns tommorow from a California trip, and he's reported getting some great shots as well, that will be posted up on his site. -x635

Well I finally got my Sept/October issue of Fire Apparatus Journal today, ripped it open and went for the Westchester section and photos, and the section wasn't there!!! Was very dissapointed. Is this just my issue? For some reason maybe I overlooked it? I hope this was just an accidental ommision, and the column is going to be continued. They better give Westchester 3 times the space next month and for the future!!! www.fireapparatusjournal.com Anyhow, despite the above, plenty of awesome rigs in this issue!!

It's now in service. Saw it operating at an MVA on I-287 around 0530hrs on 9/8/04 while on my way into work. Only got a quick look, but looks hot!! Supised they went with a custom cab, the body seems kind of small.

What point does this serve on the reporters end???????

While looking at the pending legislation on the NYS Assembly website, I found this: So, I'm confused now..does this mean blue and green lights will be the same as red lights as far as yielding goes, yet the operator must still obey all traffic laws? If passed, this is going to bring about quite a few problems, IMO.

If anybody brings their camera, send in some pics! I really wanna go, but it's my only foreseeable day off in the near future, plus my camera will be getting a workout next weekend.

I read this in the Daily News today. What a waste of money! And the city shafts EMS once again...I'll be shocked if they actually do rebuild the station. BTW, NICE PIC!
