Great shots, and a great variety of rigs!!!

AWESOME! Looks great on a Spartan chasis, when I opened this thread I had HME on the mind. I see a few other new spec additions as well, including the brow lights. Too bad they didn't put the new Smeal logo on it. It probaly has a lot more room then the HME cab, I would assume? Also suprised no chevrons. Thanks for the spy shots, Joe!

I would have hoped more members would have been into this idea and sent in scenarios.....need one for this week....email me seth@emtbravo if you have one as described above..

Wow! Awesome photo! That must have been a very impressive state of the art truck when it was delivered! Does that truck still exist somewhere? Funny, the bay looks exactly the same as the one Ladder 1 is currently squeezed into.

Excellent point! Also, if the turnout gear is still useable if replaced before 10 years, it's always nice to have a set of back up gear if you have to send your turnouts out to be repaired, washed, etc.

Actually, out of all the current manufacturers, Seagrave was THE original "heavy duty" fire apparatus.......all these other departments are trying to copy them. Has anyone seen photos yet?

I hope he sustained no internal head trauma in this and that he will heal with support, comfort, and speed.

The GMC/Chevrolet medium duty trucks were pratically selling themselves. Just another dumb move by GMC Corp. And the only reason the site is still up is because GMC has failed to take it down.

Great placement by the monster Tiller! Let's not forget one of the way to stablize a tiller is to park the cab and trailer in a "V" position.

Nice! Was the grill custom painted to match, or is Ford offering factory color matching this year?
-
Gee, I wonder who was IC for that incident in Hartsdale? That's also great ladder placement, thanks for the photos.

Looks awesome!! Thanks for the pics!

I remember when Reggie Pink was a REAL Harley dealer, until Harley Davidson forced all of it's dealers to become "boutiques" and destinations- like what it did to Brewster Harley. Sign of the times, I guess. http://www.lohud.com/article/20104150371 Sad.

EXCELLENT JOB!

Would the closing of the two fire stations mean laying off personel, or are there enough opens spots for those firefighters to be reassigned?

The Quint is 105' heavy duty ladder 2000GPM/500 Gal w a CAFS Foam system and a 515HP Detroit Diesel. I don't know that capcitiy of the hosebed but it does carry a large amount of LDH and attack line. The hosebed can be open both via the electric switch or manually. Also interesting to note, the custom LED arrowstick built into the hosebed goes into alternating mode when raised.......which also gives it the benefit of adding extra warning at a MVA scene. Also, to note, Engine 605 was the first engine to arrive at the plane into the building call in Austin a couple of months ago.....it was partcipating in a weekly multi agency hazmat drill across the street.

You hit the nail on the head, Oswegowind. That's exactly what EMTBravo is here for. Thanks.

My newest desktop accesory. Got it for $20 on Ebay. I plan on refurbishing it a little, and maybe wiring my scanner speaker to it.

I would have loved to read the article. Too bad Newsday/Cablevision makes you pay for it. Hopefully it will come out in another source.
