Tarrytown has acquired a 1997 Seagrave 1500/500 to temporarily assign to Engine 77 while their 2020 E-One is out of service after catastrophic damage from being struck on the NYS Thruway while operating at an motor vehicle accident. This engine previously served in Pelham, and was briefly used by North White Plains FD just prior to this while Ladder 47 was refurbished.

HVFD has announced they have received an order from the Town of Mamaroneck FD for 2 Seagrave engines. One will be to replace Engine 37, a 2011 KME which was catastrophically damaged by flood waters during Hurricane Ida. The other will be to replace Engine 51, a 2007 KME. The TMFD has a long history of using Seagrave apparatus, and these new engines will join a 2019 Seagrave 100' Rear Mount Ladder 19. Thanks again to @LFD171 for the info.

Does anyone know how this will affect the feeds on Broadcastify and other sites?

I believe it is some type of forcible entry tool.

It's used to transmit information such as BOLO's (Be on the lookout), missing persons, pursuits that are traveling through different jurisdictions, and other information that needs to be rapidly disseminated and shared throughout Westchester County's numerous PD agencies.

Hastings-on-Hudson has received a 2021 Spartan/Marion for Rescue 100 This replaces a "Frankenstein" style rig that previously saw service in Norwalk, Connecticut. That rig was assembled by the Norwalk FD Shops utilizing components from several older NFD rigs. Hastings acquired it in 2010 as a trade for their 1985 American LaFrance 100' Tiller. Harrison has ordered a Pierce to replace Engine 12, which was damaged in Hurricane Ida and subsequently catastrophically damaged. Harrison has also purchased an engine temporarily to fill the gap

Pierce also has a large stock truck program, with some already on the line that can be modified quickly to meet the users needs. I wonder if this was a factor.

I think I heard it takes a while to get a Seagrave, so maybe they ordered a Pierce because they can get it faster? But they have a loaner and two other engines, so I don't know what the rush would be.
