It's more of a maroon, like this. The lighting was really crappy where the sun and rig were positioned in the photo above. Here are 303 and 304. Both are 2013 Ford E-350/AEV Traumahawk Type II 6.8 L Gas, Both are already in service, I believe.

Anyone going Saturday and want to meet up? PM me. I haven't decided if I'm riding the Harlem, Hudson, or New Haven line yet. I either want to ride an M8 or maybe catch an interior refurbished M3.....it's been very elusive to me.

Well, since Fox pre-empts "Cops" almost every week for sports, I kind of felt this was going to happen. Hopefully it will do well and get some love on Spike.

I wonder why they don't have the chasis shipped to Pierce, them build it, and ship it back. Probaly cheaper just to ship the body there, but I wonder what problems may arise at the end assembly.

I hope I can make it, looks like it's going to be awesome! Thanks on the heads up on the backpack, K, I have a small DSLR bag, I wonder if that is considered a backpack? Probaly not, it's more like a purse, lol.

Glad to hear she is recovering, thoughts and prayers. I've worked and been a patient at WMC, so if you have a question about something like food in the area that's not Au Bon Pain let me know.

Got to love electronic PCR's! And this is why EMS needs to make sure that PCR gets to the right place, and the facility knows to place it in the Pt's chart. Sorry about that. Have you tried the editor of the Putnam-Brewster Patch? She may have some information or connections on where to get it? Here is her email: ashley.tarr@patch.com Or Peekskill Patch: Editor Rasheed Oluwa rasheed.oluwa@patch.com I'm really hoping one of our many members were monitoring the scanner or radios at work and heard something and can help. These are the agencies for the route she traveled: Carmel VAC: (845) 490-4146 Mohegan VAC: (914) 526-0823 Peekskill VAC EMS: (914) 737-5310 Peeksill-Cortlandt Paramedics: SSheridan@cityofpeekskill.com Cortlandt VAC EMS: (914) 739-0881 Yorktown VAC: (914) 469-5197 Empress EMS (ALS Flycar): 1888-965-5040 x 0 Frank Becccera Jr, legendary Journal News Photographer and monitors the scanner 24/7: FBECERRA@lohud.com I'm sorry you're having this problem, I've been a victim of this situation before. I'm calling some contacts to see if I can help you. If I can, I'll PM you.

Thanks, guys. Planes are built on a global level now, so shouldn't the contract go to someone like Boeing? (but Airbus builds A320's in Mobile,AL so does it really matter I guess) Who operates the 747 tankers?

What brand/type of aircraft are they replacing it with?

Joe Nagy though for years he suffered from a chronically running nose, but a trip to the doctor revealed he actually had a tiny hole in the membrane around his brain. Read more: http://www.upi.com/blog/2013/05/07/Mans-runny-nose-actually-leaking-brain-fluid/9031367949276/#ixzz2ShgnR7y6

Brian.....I think that's a great idea and I've been trying to do that with RWC130 for a long time- but as usual it's something I've been procrastinating on, and now Rob has left the site. But I want to make it happen. It would have to be someplace central to all, and a good timeframe, maybe in the next few weeks during the nice spring weather before the busy Memorial Day/Graduation season? Anyone have suggestions?

I apologize, Firedude actually started a thread on this but it got lost in the technical difficulties. The information was lost, and I hope he will repost it.

I was just wondering if their were any special things being done in case their needs to be a rescue from the new TZ Bridge construction? Is training being provided to the responders (such as high angles rescue, construction rescue, etc) Is a muster point being established? I imagine that, at certain stages, access could be quite tricky.

When an IC rolls up, what should be in his/her concise size up to let incoming units know what they should be preparing for? Without getting overzealous, what should be included to keep those responding safe when they get there?

Ferrara has this in the "In Production" section of their website. FDNY "Mitigation Unit" http://ferrarafire.com/CustomerSupport/InProduction/InProduction.html If I remember correctly, they were looking to replace HM-1's second piece...could this be that piece?

Depending on health and time, I'm planning on going to the Bedford Hills Parade, the Katonah FD Wetdown, and Fleet Day. I also hope to make some other events. If anybody is going to these events and wants to meet up, PM or email me. I like putting faces to names as well, and hearing input about the site.

Seems aimed at the type of Aerial Sutphen makes, like Millwood's and Somers. I like the concept, and the price point. Press Release: http://www.spartanerv.com/

Interesting article, especially the facts and figures. Seems like part of the government there is pro-firefighter. Syracuse FD has some great leaders, it will be interesting to see what happens.

Wow! It is....I didn't even notice that. I would take it that it couldn't make it up a fair number of hills.

I'm having trouble recalling, what are the brush resources (i.e. Brush Truck) south of I-287 in Westchester?
