Hopefully it was an exterior operation only - No FAST

Based on the fact that it says it is a 1975 engine I am fairly certain it is the old engine 120 that Croton gave the fire academy when we got the current engine 120.

As has been said several times already, Kevin was an all around great guy. I was fortunate enough to count hi amongst my friends. He will be truly missed by all. My sincerest sympathies to the Peekskill Fire Department and to Kevin's family.
-
I have had the pleasure of working alongside with Sam on many occassions both as a polce officer and the fire department, he was always a consumate professional. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the OVAC family. Stay strong, get well and have a speedy and full recovery.

After reading the article I have to ask what kind of drugs did this FIRE CHIEF carry?
-
Our 62 MACK was actually copied from a long island rig and yes it had seats, 4 cushioned seats that opened up to pack hose. When we were writing specs for our 84 MACK we could not call them seats we had to call them doors, if they were "seats" we would have had tohave seat belts. We actually had a door installed on the rear of the walkway to make use of the space under the walkway.
-
We had 2 of our engines with the walkway, it had advantages and disadvantages and the main disadvantage was like posted elsewhere, it was tough on the back packing hose especially as you get on in years. I for 1 am glad we don't have those rigs anymore for that reason only, but I sure do miss those 2 MACKS (1962 & 1984).
-
Congrats Pat, glad to hear mom and baby are doing well.
-
Yes the Ward is a nice rig, I think I know the guy that owns it now.
-
Yap- is the 1 to the right of the Mack also a Mack or is it another Ward?

I had many mentors through the years, too many to mention individually. Therefore I will just lump them together in a group I shall call all the senior firefirghters in my department and some of my neighboring departments. Now that I am a "senior member" I sincerely hope that I am having an influence on some of our younger members and setting a good example for them!

It was originally red and beautiful. Verplanck, Buchanan, Montrose and Croton all had similar Engines.
