are your operators i guess speaking to early and getting front end clipped? perhaps if you enable signalling and active mdc sidetone and set for the required amount of seconds, radio should give tone (during mdc/premble mdc). if your not using mdc signalling this may be annoying for users. i am unsure if there is a way to delay ptt. Sounds like a total city wide system. More than likely digital.

The current freq is licensed to dobbs, they can run analog and digital. the system will more than likely be digital. Yes, the agencies will maintain thier own freq. This is for town wide incident.

Seeing how this seems to be the only/most active Westchester Co. /Regional board dealing w/ EMS/FIRE/PD how about creating/updating the frequencies lists, and may be create a database for "us" here. I have the Uniden BCD396T scanner.. just got it and still trying to figure it out.. I finally fixed/created the NYC DOITT Trunking System. I would be willing to share this file/post (system database file)on here etc etc. for those to load into thier BCD396T. Ideas? Bad? Good? Does anyone have good working CT State/Local etc for the 396T Thank You in advance.

It should be noted that Tarrytown FD Dispatch frequency is the same as Marine Channel 64 156.225Mhz Unsure why a license was issued on this frequency. :-k But that is why the FD heard the fishermen. John
