I notice recently that only two Engines instead of Four go on automatic alarms in Yonkers Why is it changed? And is it going to be a continued standard. Procedure? Also do they still send four to high rise buildings, hospitals, and schools In my opinion I think it's a good idea.

It's two Engines and two trucks and the Battalion that i hear go on automatic alarms I believe all Yonkers rigs have 4 men some might have 5 at times

Due to numerous ambulance calls in a short period, the White Plains FD responded to two medical emergencies today. Do they wait on a mutual aid ambulance? I don't recall the last time I heard them go on a ambulance call.

was a second alarm bldg. was a very large house I was on location heavy fire throughout the whole attic and roof one tower ladder up four lines stretched and in operation nine FF were transported to hospital units on scene E-21,22,23,24,25,17 L-11,12,13,14 msu c-2301 c-2302 c-2306 c-2300 ambulances 30a1 30a1 mutual aid transcare with supervisor yonkers called to the scene squad 311 L-73 and blt-2 for relief call came in at 2235 second alarm at 2350 not under control till 0533 units covering new Rochelle were Greenville squad 15 and Pelham manor tl-3 at station 3 yonkers was at sta-1 but when called to the scene Eastchester tl 17 and white plains engine 65 went to station 1 unknown what ambulance was covering
