nice looking rig, just curious if anyone knows why they went with the 4 door? seems like it adds a lot to the wheelbase
-
yes, we contained it to the master bedroom in the CD corner and it had just broken through to the attic but didnt get to run on us. the fire self vented through the skylights, which i believe helped it from coming out of the fire room.

the Roosevelt fire dept. will never be quite the same. Vince will be deeply missed and has touched everybody he has ever come to know. On behalf of RFD i would like to thank everybody for their concerns and sympathies through this very difficult time. I will as soon as any details are known

its tough to tell from the picture, but is the nozzle hooked directly to the discharge on the front bumper? If so do you know why?

I agree with Jetphoto, it is very nice to have a "back up set" however my dept has approx 100 members and there would be no way to fit that in the budget. I am one of the few that is lucky enough to have a personal set of gear that I found on ebay for the right price, so after any incident i can have my stuff washed or dry properly without being out of service for that time. But that is a double edged sword, while my dept allows us to wear personal gear, if it gets damaged or destroyed they are not responsible to replace it....

well between the rear of the light bar the mini strip in the back window and there are also what looks like TIR 3 on either side of the box with the hatch open. I would also assume they have strobes or something in the brake lights
