EMTBravo Goes "On The Road" to Dutchess County

The Final Votes are in:

Hyde Park Brewery

12 Votes - 17.39%

Copperfield's

22 Votes - 31.88%

Mahoney's Irish Pub

35 Votes - 50.72%

Total Votes: 70

I like the idea of having EMTBravo Members vote on where

you would like to meet up in January.

If it was not for YOU the members of EMTBravo this site would be nothing.

We appreciate all of you!

After much consideration and because this is our "Kick Off" for 2009

I have decided to have TWO separate dates and locations.

Friday, January 9, 2009 @ Mahoney's Irish Pub

35 Main Street

Poughkeepsie, NY 12601

9 PM

Friday, January 23, 2009 @ Copperfield's

2571 Route 44

Salt Point, NY 12578

9 PM

I hope this makes our Dutchess County EMTBravo members happy

and brings out a good crowd on both nights.

How does that sound guys?

Rob, I'm not a Dutchess County member, but I work there and might be interested in attending one of the events. My only suggestion, for those of us who work set schedules, might be to have the two parties on different nights of the week. If you work Friday nights, you're pretty much out in the cold for both parties.

If any of the local Dutchess members are able to give Rob a hand on either of those nights I'm sure he'd appreciate it! He's putting in a lot of effort to promote these gatherings and we should all make an effort to stop by and meet each other face to face, exchange a few stories, have a few drinks and appetizers, and have some laughs.

Copperfields is indeed in Salt Point proper, in the Pleasant Valley Fire District.

If you have enough beer and stand on the end of the walkway into the front door, you should have enough PSI to pee into the Town of Washington, Millbrook Fire Disctrict.

We had 35 Votes for Mahoney's and 22 Votes for Copperfield's

out of respect for EVERYONE and the Christmas Spirit I decided to have

EMTBravo Goes "On The Road" at BOTH locations.

Smile! :D

Now, the Million Dollar question is WHO IS GOING?

Are you going to Mahoney's?

Are you going to Copperfiend's?

Do you guys want to kick in say $5.00 or $10.00 a head to get some Appetizers

or would you rather everyone on their own?

We did $15.00 a head at the Holiday Party and it worked out well.

Everyone got some Appetizers and one Beer or Soda for the $15.

For this, maybe everyone on their own will be easier?
