Location: Mamaroneck, Rye, Port Chester, New Rochelle, Larchmont Coastal areas

Units Operating: Numerous local and mutual aid agenices
Description Of Incident: Rapid, heavy flooding due to rain and rise of the Long Island Sound prompting numerous water rescues and evacuations.

Disaster situation in region. 60 Control handling numerous incidents and coordinating massive response. Westchester DES OEM activated. Red Cross opening shelters.

* There was a working house fire in Mamaroneck Village at 243 Knollwood Avenue where multiple Mutual Aid units went to work. Unconfirmed reports of a victim trapped..

Mamaroneck Village has a Command Post and manpower pool setup at the H&L on Mamaroneck Avenue. Units that have been mobilized include (some may be missing):

Personnel for relief purposes from Ossining, Mohegan, Tarrytown, Pleasantville, Elmsford, Valhalla & Peekskill FD.

Apparatus deployed includes (again, some may be missing):
Banksville R7 to Eastchester w/ pumps
Bedford Hills TL57 to Mamaroneck
Briarcliff R37 to Mamaroneck
Buchanan U4 (Bus) for transporting FF & civilians & Boat in Mamaroneck
Chappaqua TL27 to Mamaroneck
Croton E119 & M32 to Mamaroneck
Irvington R49 & Dive Unit to Mamaroneck
Montrose R51 & Boat to Mamaroneck
Mount Kisco E104 to Mamaroneck
Sleepy Hollow Boat to Mamaroneck
Ossining L42 to Rye FD
Pleasantville E260 to Mamaroneck
Pound Ridge 2408 to Eastchester w/ pumps
South Salem R34 to Mamaroneck
Tarrytown E80 to Mamaroneck
Valhalla R9 to Mamaroneck
Verplanck Boat to Mamaroneck
West Harrison Engine to Harrison & Mamaroneck
Yorktown MA8 & Dive Team to Mamaroneck

As of 04:00 units from Putnam have staged at 60 Control for deployment. They are:
