Description Of Incident: MTA pursuit out of Chester, NY

MTA originated pursuit of a vehicle on I-87 in Chester (Orange). NYSP picked up vehicle south of Harriman and continued down the Thruway and over the Tappan Zee Bridge. At one point, suspect rammed an NYSP car. Suspect continued east on I-287 to the southbound Sprain Brook Parkway on (3) wheels. Once in Yonkers, suspect continued onto the southbound Bronx River Parkway and attempted to ram YPD ESU Truck 4. Suspect then collided with a NYSP car and crashed into the barrier. Perp tried to again flee and was boxed in by ESU Truck 2 and Truck 4. MTA PD took custody of perp, who was transported by Empress to hospital. No officers were injured.
