Description Of Incident: Heavy fire throughout a 2-story commmercial "Munrod Interior Upholstery"
Writer: BFD1054, Truck4 (O/S), tbendick (O/S)

2136hrs- Original calls for smoke from the roof of a commercial building and smoke in the area, R-1 O/S reports smoke in the area.

2141hrs- Tower Ladder 1 cutting fence to gain access to Exposure #3 parking lot (rear of Jehovah's Witness).

2143hrs- B/C rpts 10-26 (Working Fire) with co's forcing entry to the building. Additional Engine to scene as FAST. (Early comm's with Fire Alarm were difficult due to possible dead zone)

2145hrs- B/C req. 2nd Alarm. FAST Engine now 2nd Alarm company. Additional Engine to scene for FAST (last MVFD Engine).

2147hrs- M/A (2) Engines/(1) Truck to cover, New Rochelle E-22/L-12.

2150hrs- Heavy smoke condition from a 2-story furniture warehouse. Units advising the main entrance is on the Exposure # 1/2 corner. Co's attempting to access fire.

Exposure #2- Lot
Exposure #3- Lot
Exposure #3A- 2-story (Jehovah's Witness building)
Exposure #4- 4-story OMD.

2155hrs- Tower Ladder 3 setting up on Exposure #2 side, Tower Ladder #1 setting up in the rear. Multiple L/S.

2159hrs-Pelham FD requested to re-locate (1) engine.

2206hrs-Greenville FD requested to re-locate (1) engine to FDMV Sta. #3. Greenville received, advising E151 will be the re-locate engine.

2207hrs-WCDES Batt-18 responding. 60-Control advising Pelham unable to respond, Greenville dispatched in their place.

2210hrs-GFD E151 re-locating.

2214hrs- B/C transmitting 3rd Alarm, req. Engine and Truck to scene (E-22/L-12).

2215hrs-Batt-18 on location.

2220hrs- Tower Ladder #1 rpts fire now showing from 1st floor windows in the rear.

2222hrs-GFD E151 out at FDMV Sta. #3.

2223hrs- CMD pulling all members from inside the buidling and going to exterior attack.

2229hrs- New Rochelle L-12 setting up in the rear parking lot, E-22 at Sanford and Franklin bringing water. Fairview L1 requested to re-locate FDMV Sta. #3. FFD L1 re-locating.

2235hrs- (2) Tower Ladders in operation, (1) stang in front. Heavy fire through the roof.

2242hrs- 60-Control contacting E151 & L1, requesting them to respond w/Eastchester E31 to 448 Garden Ave. on a possible basement fire.

2247hrs-GFD E151 & EFD E31 on location 448 Garden Ave.

2249hrs-E151 & L1 going back in service/returning to FDMV Sta. #3.

2250hrs- Mount Vernon Tower Ladder #3 lost water and is out of service.

2315hrs-As per Command, (3) deck guns in operation in front, (1) Tower Ladder, (1) ladder pipe, (1) handline in operation in rear. Partial collapse of the #2 floor.

2320hrs- 4th Alarm, req. Greenville E-151 to the scene.

2326hrs-White Plains FD E66 now re-locating FDMV Sta. #3.

2332hrs- Members enroute to pick up Mount Vernon's 3rd Tower Ladder.

2350hrs-Multiple deck guns, elevated master streams & handlines in operation.

0000hrs- Co's putting Tower Ladder in service on Exposure #2 side. Still heavy fire condition in center of building. Prolonged Op's. WC Bus to scene for rehab.

0952hrs- Fire placed U/C.

1450hrs- All firefighting operations have concluded.
