Here are some photos and info that was sent to me.

Route 9-A, near the Greenburgh Multiplex. 

12/23/06 @ 0527 hours.

Equipment used:  Hurst Tool (cutter, spreader, rams), Stihl saw, Whizzer, various hand tools, step chocks, cribbing, etc.

Con Ed pole broken in half.  Suspended piece resting vertically on the roof of the vehicle and the base imbedded into the drivers side of the vehicle.

Lengthy extrication, about 45 minutes, but within the Golden Hour.  Patient transported to Westchester Medical Center in serious condition....possible

fractured leg and internal injuries.
