On 10/12/06, bid was awarded to Firematic Manufacturing for the replacement of the Current MA-14.

The vehicle will be a multi-purpose unit designed to be an initial attack unit, brush truck, EMS support, and can be used as a source pumper for lakes, streams and ponds that are tight for the "big rigs"

It will not look like the New City unit, it will look more like this unit-

Any plans for the Old Mini-Attack 14? If I had the money, I wouldn't mean picking it up my self!

The current MA-14 will replace the current Utility 5 and U-5 will be transferred to the SFD Shop for use by the mechanic, he currently uses an old chief's car.
