Description: Hartsdale handling multiple calls in district. All apparatus were committed at different scenes when a call came in at 6 Cornell Drive for a contractor who damaged a gas line. Engine 171 freed up after a few minutes and responded, Engine 170 responded with a 4 firefighter crew only OOS as an apparatus. Engine 169 and Car 2172 stated they would be tied up for several more minutes. Engine 171 Captain 23 requested Greenville Ladder 4 and Fairview Engine 175 to 6 Cornell Drive. Engine 169 and 2172 freed up, Engine 171 Captain requested they respond to the scene, and request Scarsdale Engine relocate to Hartsdale Station 2. Fairview FD requests Elmsford Engine 237 to relocate to Fairview HQ, Fairview also operating on multiple calls in their district.

16:xx Engine 171 on location 6 Cornell Drive, heavy gas odor and high readings in (residential) area due to a gas line break, requesting Con Ed Gas forthwith.
